How to Install jackd software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jackd software package provides JACK Audio Connection Kit (default server package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jackd

jackd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jackd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jackd *

You will get with jackd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
